On Tuesday 28th May, HBN was lucky enough to receive a visit from the IOM Music Service Roadshow. Some if the Department's peripatetic music teachers showed us their talents, taught us about the elements of music and got everyone performing a samba. Thank you so much for coming!

We held our annual Key Stage 1 Sports Day last week, on a not very summery day! We got a little damp but did all the events and everyone had a great. Thank you to Mr Hunter and the Key Stage One teachers for organising.
Members of Year 5 and 6 recently took part in the Guild Spoken Word classes. After many lunchtime practices with Mrs Halsall they recited a poem in front of a large audience at the Villa Marina. On Wednesday, the school council were lucky enough to go and meet Her Majesty Queen Camilla when she came to confer city status on Douglas. Everyone was very excited, especially hen she came over to talk to our group. Mrs Halsall and Miss Rubery enjoyed meeting her too.
