Every year Douglas Borough Council provide pupils with daffodil bulbs to take home and care for. In the Spring, the members of the Council come and judge the best flowers and the best decorated pots. It is always a tricky decision and we had a great entry this year. Here are our winners.
On Monday 6th February the Lieutenant Governor of the Isle of Man, Lieutenant General Sir John Lorimer, visited school. Before Christmas, team of Year 4s have raised over 136 pounds for Crossroads. Led by Zara Lace-Tunstall the group sold drinks and baked goods at the Year 3 and 4 Christmas Carol Evening. Megan and Maddison came to assembly today to collect the cheque. We are really proud of their community spirit.
We recently took part in the inter-school badminton competition. The pupils played well and were great ambassadors for the school and sportsmanship. Thanks to Mrs Sayle for organising and coaching.

Before half term we said goodbye to one of our fabulous education support officers, Mrs McCubbin. Mrs McCubbin has supported many children in the 6 years she has worked here and we will miss her very much. We wish her luck in her new role at Ballakermeen.
