Well done to our GROW winners - they showed Grit, Risk-taking, Optimism and a good Work ethic.
We believe it is very important to help and support others so every year HBN supports Children in Need. This year we came to school dressed in spots and held a bake sale. We also had a dance-athon, a football tournament and raffles to win sweets and a giant teddy!
These wonderful learners were awarded a FAB - they showed fantastic attitude and behaviour all half term Well done!
Lest we forget... On Monday, Year 6 led us in an assembly to mark Remembrance Day. We learnt about WW2 and also why we wear poppies. Thanks to all the year groups for making poppies to display around school.
We are supporting our community by helping Isle of Play raise money. We all decorated and filled a money box. Look at our great creations.
Newspaper club ventured down to the Quay to try and get an interview with HRH the Princess Royal during her visit to the Island in October. They took Jiigsaw Jello with them. We recently celebrated Harvest Festival. The Year 2 children led our Harvest assembly. Parents had kindly donated food items for the Salvation Army and all of the Infant children performed seasonal songs. A wonderful celebration. We even had our own combine harvester!
