Our annual prize day is a time to recognise and celebrate the achievements of individuals who have shone over the course of the year. Well done!
'Together we Learn and Grow'
A fantastic day. The sun shone, hundreds of people turned up and there was a real community atmosphere. We had stalls, games, dancers, raffles, refreshments, dances, musicians, Star Wars characters and so much more. A big thank you to the 'Friends' for organising such a brilliant event.
A fantastic day of sports. All the children in the school competed in a series of mini events and a range of races. The sun shone, the children smiled and the parents cheered. Certificates, lots of them, were presented the following day.
We entered two teams for the first time at this year's all island primary school football competition. Our 'B' team gained valuable experience playing at such a high level and Mr Hardie was delighted with their attitude, teamwork and sportsmanship. The "A' team played some really good football, sco…
As part of their transition 'experience' our year sixes performed at Ballakermeen in the production of 'The day the Crayons quit'. They were the overworked blue crayons. They sang and danced with style.
Another excellent week's learning. Well done everyone.
As part of their learning about the World Cup our year 6 pupils visited Liverpool for the day. They had a fantastic time, they toured Anfield and visited the museums. One child described the day as 'the best day ever'.
The group of boys from year 6 are pictured proudly holding their trophy for 'Best Research' at the Cut Film Awards. They were extremely proud, so were we!
