Guild Week was last week and our first HBN entries were the Year 5/6 Choir, who joined together with the choirs of Ballacottier, Dhoon and Peel Clothworkers primary choirs for a special entry in the Anything Goes category on Saturday night.
It was a packed Royal Hall and busy category including Manx and Irish dancing, very entertaining nuns and even a Liam Gallagher impersonation that brought the house down. But it was the Primary School Choir’s beautiful, harmony-rich performance of One Moment in Time that won the trophy!
Well done to our singers and our team-mates from Dhoon, Ballacottier and Peel. And special thanks to Katie Lawrence who made it all happen.
